        1. haha – well the standard is to only use the two letter ones and the only time I have seen folks deviate is usually for Cali or Fla – ya know

    1. haha – same here, D (and I was just sharing with Ady that I originally took the shot as maybe Thursday Doors option – the tan doors right)- but the lines overpowered the doors and it better fit a Wednesday post – thanks for the feedback

    1. well ady – thanks for the awesome compliments – and it was just one of those clicks that later had interest – I was going for the doors to the right – tan ones – – for maybe one of Norm’s Thursday Doors’ posts – right? but later, it was exactly what you noted that drew me in – the lines – and color!
      and I know wordless wednesday pics can be anything – but I try to use one that has layers or many details – and so thanks for viewing/commenting

  8. The narrow path leading the blue house at the end is very nice eyes leading composition. The whole fence lines bring in another story though. I think it makes the place look like part of military place or area that you can’t get in. It is also quite a lonely place.

    1. Hi YC – you are right about the military vibe…
      and actually – in person – it is much more subtle.

      I think the
      reason for the wiring is to have the railing seem like infinity – and not obtrusive – so in person it feels barely there….
      I was down below looking up – and I feel the lonely vibe too – it was quite this day – but can be very busy there..

  9. I reacted with mixed feelings about the photo, Yvette. The fence in the foreground suggests feelings of imprisonment and separation here, and yet, the colours on the left make one feel much less gloomy. And the eye rests on that delightful blue on the hut in the distance. Is this on the coast?

    1. Hi Amanda – gosh – you are so right – it does have that prison feel in the photo – but no – in real life it is more of an open feel (so another example of perspective)
      and yes – this is right on the coast and the reason for the wiring is to have the railing seem like infinity – or see through – and so in person it feels barely there….
