Wow! I saw an elderly woman at the shopping centre the other day with nails even longer than those. I would have liked to take an even better look but it wasn’t possible – just a glimpse as I walked past.

Hi – wow- an elderly woman had them? well good for her – a little daily art to enjoy right there at her fingertips.

Well spotted and beautifully captured 🙂

thanks Sreejith – and I actually took some photos of this a while back and had a little girl holding up her hand – showing some plain nails – and it synced well – but I accidentally deleted those photos.
oh well

It happened with me also, when one back up HDD stopped working.
Thereafter I keep two back ups of each photo I capture 🙂
No storage media is safe …
Have a beautiful day ahead, Yvette 🙂

oh good idea to keep a backup.
and I guess that photo was just meant to get lost – maybe some time I will stage a reproduction (or not)
and wishing you a wonderful day too

Holy cow! They do look like weapons and I’d never be able to wear them at work, as using the register, restocking pastries, etc. would be impossible a/o SO messy. Honestly, I wouldn’t even want them and with all I do, all that work and cost would be gone in no time. I do polish my toenails sometimes in summer, though. That lasts longer. 🙂

haha – laughing at the weapons part – they do look like that – and these not work for you for sure – not garden friendly either….
and the only times I have seen ladies with these I noticed they were texting – and it was a work of art to see them maneuver.
and aren’t nicely painted toes so fun?… 🙂 esp. in summer

I wouldn’t want any of my nails looking like that. I wouldn’t be able to do anything with my hands!

Oh I know – and I wore “nails” for more than ten years – but always a simple and manageable length –
I am amazed when i see girls text with these claws – they are truly skilled….

I agree. I do not know how they do it.

It is amazing how some fingernails can be so shiny and fancy. I don’t do my nails but if I had nails like that I would be looking at them all day 😅
LikeLike
that is a good point – they would be attention grabbing…
and I think it shows some technology here too – how they have the glues and jewels to stay put
LikeLike
Those glues beneath nails are heavy duty. Them nails can stay on for weeks if done right. Amazing stuff and the amazing lengths some of us go to define beauty – not that that is a bad thing. It’s a great form of artistic, creative and self-expression.

I agree- all about how we define beauty!
and your comment reminded me of how some folks were “ripping on” Princess Kate – Kate Middleton – now Duchess of Cambridge – because during her wedding ceremony she had very plain finger nails.
And a few comments were so mean, “Like even a French manicure would have been nice..”
hey – to each their own – and sometimes all natural and plain Jane has beauty that cannot be bought!
🙂

Beautiful, amigo. In reality however when I look at them I wonder how useful they are in daily lives 🙂 But, walking the ramp, yes.

waling the ramp – ha – yes – good point

You meant “walking” right? “Waling” might also make sense 🙂

yes – meant the walk – the strut – and the waling I guess –
