All photos from in and around Virginia 2018. The “red, white and blue” theme for today’s door post was inspired by Independence Day 2018… which feels like it is a long “holiday week” because the 4th landed on a Wednesday…..
Have a great day and if you have any door photos to share or if you want to see more – go HERE.
Oh you are so right about the cushions and the last time i was there – I got up and sat near the entrance on a solid chair – it was a long time ago and no mas.
eeeeeew
and once we heard a story that someone was poked with a needle in there – not sure if it was true, but I could not go in there (and I have to be quiet as I say that because some folks around this town are defensive if this historic place and well, would not want to offend)
Oh yes! be carefull when commenting on historical stuff. My town is frightfully proud of some things that I consider a bit of junk. Were the old chair cushions for sale or give aways
Hi – Norm is a blogger and for a couple of years now he has been hosting a weekly door link up – and it is a really fun connection. You share door poses, if you have some to share, on Thursdays (or up until Sat morning for that week)

thanks and yes, those seats are horrible – and seriously – many of the ones inside were that bad – maybe they thought people did not care if it was dark – and well, glad they raised the money to change them (eek)
“Ruffled feathers and endless squawking over a minor difficulty is typical of a crow’s life. I lean back on the counter and realize that could be my line….”
I like the patriotic colors and the arrows are perfect!
Noting will keep me out of a place as much as nasty cushions.

Cute crochets are cute!
Those seat cushions were well beyond uck! Grody!
I like the peeling painted brick, good texture and mood there.
