Hello Readers, the lens-artist photo challenge (here) this week is A C T I O N.
My photos are action street shots from an afternoon walk in August 2018.
Each photo here has at least one foot in the air.
I like this ending photo, with the couple, because of the mood (walking in sync, balance with two trees above them and then side to side in front, the two different wood tones in the upper fences, etc.). However, the closing photo also makes a nice “generational bookend” for the post because we started with children in the strollers and have variety of ages in between.
Do you have a favorite picture from this post?

Action can be so different – and I agree with you – I love the last shot! Balance and harmony.

Leya, I love how you said ‘action can be so different” – and mine is a bit calmer than some action shots – but then again – those strollers look heavy

My favorite is the leadoff, Y, because I can easily imagine another three or four folks with strollers (or even more) ahead of them, making it a caravan of carriage-pushers.

Hi M – I can imagine a caravan too – and what surprised me was how common these “triple-seated” strollers were in this area. HUGE

Pretty cool way to move the little ones, Y.

I agree and fun to see who the everyday stroller has morphed over the decades – I remember when the “off-road” tires were available – and the ones in this photo seem industrial strength

I have few favorite pictures from this post. I like the first picture, her foot was completely off and that makes the movement feel to it. The 4th one is cool. I like how he was composed into the picture and definitely his looks, his staff and water bottle he carried. Such a cool look, chill! The last one, yes it is a good ending one and you can see the old couple remains together, last long one..

thanks for the detailed reply – I think my second fav (from reader comments chiming in) is the 4th one – the walker man –
and you described it well –
oh and I like his sunglass reflection in that shot

I like that last photo best, the couple in step 🙂 But I also like the smiling guy — I enjoy his participation.

Fun series of photos! My favourite is the 2nd one – at the traffic lights. I love the perspective of that shot!

I really appreciate the feedback my friend – especially because I almost left that one out – the lighting is not the best and the biker (with foot in the air) is clearer in another shot – but the walker – the arm in air and the feel of that guy – just called to me to be included – so thx again

I also have not been able to activate my name to link back to my blog. I think it is as easy as using the ‘change’ link in the comments box. We’ll see if it works here…thanks again.
