Given that medics always want to perform CPR, and they might not find your DNR instructions in time, to be tattooed makes sense….who knows, I might do it one day….
For those who do not smoke (me too), it is difficult or unbearable to sit near one who does or having to be in the environment that has smoke smell (even there is no one smokes there i.e. in a hotel room that allowed people smoke in the room).
That is funny you said plan B is typically better than plan A. Ha, Ha, how true that is and why put it the second 🙂
The last rule is also funny. I would not have any problem if I were a doctor if I were to save his life.
Yes I walk out of places too if there is smoking, nice that you walked out with a smile. 🙂
Your Plan B made me think of the quote that says. “If plan A doesn’t work don’t worry there are 25 more letters in the alphabet!” LOL!
Hi – well I might have looked like a be-yotch back then, but it was really that i was allergic – my throat would close and I could not breathe. However, since that time I have detoxed and cleansed and in 2013 I was at my cousin’s in Buffalo (snowed in – of course) and they smoked and I was fine. It did not smell the best and I would not want to do it all the time – but I was smiling for a different reason – I had a really strong bioterrain and it was awesome….
I was so happy when places started banning smoking. As a reformed smoker (quit cold turkey in 1975), my body developed sensitivity to cigarette smoke. My eyes would tear and my sinuses swell at the slightest provocation. Quitting has to be one of the best things I’ve ever done!
Heehee! Hubby and I have talked about getting DNR tattoos! We won’t only because we’re not proponents of tattooing the body. 😁😉
I can imagine the closer you get to tobacco road, the more holdouts there were as far as smoking in restaurants is concerned.
There used to be a time when having a smoke after a good meal was better than dessert for me. Nowadays, I’m thankful there is no smoking allowed in restaurants. If only because it would be too much of a temptation.

Hi YC – maybe it is said that way (about plan B) because it takes Plan B to get there (iterative)
but sometimes it is Plan G for me…
hah
Oh and I would save him too – or try to

I love that restaurants are now smoke-free. In Paris people can still smoke inside albeit on one side of the restaurant. Definitely not pleasant.

There are some great signs in stores and restaurants.
