Hood Ornaments (Lens-Artists #32- Shadows)

Happy Sunday Bloggers,

The theme for the Lens-Artists’ Photo Challenge is Shadows this week.

Here is my take:

Shadow

Reflection…
Parked in the shadow…

Balanced Shadow…

Reflection (and vibrant color)
My interpretation of Ferdinand’s quote: “Sometimes in life we just have to make things happen – we cannot wait for it to fall into our lap.  We have to get to gettin’–  to go and make it happen.”

Not in the mood for a car?

Maybe this is an option:

  1. 🙂 I am in the mood for cars and yes, can’t say no for fast cars too. Porsche is one of my favorite (and dream of) . Oh Red, yes red Porsche definitely.

Those are wise words. I like that we should have at least 30 seconds or a minute to slow down (for most of the circumstances unless that is an emergency situation).

    Please have a great Sunday.

    1. Hi YC- I like how the red loos but personally would not want to drive a red Porseche ever – I mean it is beautiful (and the young lady that drove this one – a lease – chatted with my mom and I ) but whew – just a bit loud for my personal driving – however – I bet it handles the road so nicely
And thanks for the feedback on the quote – reading what you wrote reminded me that sometimes we forget what small
Pauses can do – a little can add up

      1. 🙂 I could not believe that your comment sounds or loudness from the car. That is what most reviews say the same thing. At this age, I love quiet car. I still like it though.

    1. I look forward to it – and I just read a micro fiction piece (online) called hood ornaments that I was going to add to a post at some time – and now I am really curious about your poem

      1. Purchased as a leftover in 2006 but is a 2005 XL something … lol … Champagne gold color with beige interior. Drives like a dream and almost has 100,00 miles. It’s a classic for me I’ll keep forever. The speed is addictive. Of course, I only do that on highways. LOL well … maybe, not always. : ) 😎
