That wicker love seat loooks like it was nice back in the day….

All these old furniture has an aesthetic appeal, right?
I feel, we are losing this aesthetic sense over generations…
When we take photos of old structures and new buildings it’s quite evident.
It’s been a long time since I visited your blog and let me explore it 🙂

Oh thanks for dropping by my friend – and you are right – we don’t want to lose aesthetics – especially as AI permeates the culture

I like the overall feel of the opening pic … not if I could only change the design of the chairs. 😉

Seems many folks are not liking the chairs – and I can see why – and the mirrors in the first have an 80s vibe to me

I can’t say much about the appeal of the seating in these photos, but oooooh … LOVE the mirrors in the first photo!

I went back and looked at them a little more – and I agree – 😉

Interesting seats – but they don’t look very cosy. I cannot imagine spending hours on them reading.

I fully agree – they were targeting the people who did not use the back of seats during tea chatting time – ha

Hmmm, if I’m looking for a comfortable place to sit, I might head to Florida.

I like photos of seats, chairs, benches… any old place on which a person could rest his or her backside. That being said, maybe not on the furniture in the last photo. I do have standards, you know!

I hear you ally – but the two white stools might be able to be refurbished (kidding)

I don’t know about these furniture, not my type. I bet it comes with a shocking tag price. I will repurpose a seat from Florida.

I think you are right about the price being high as collectibles and I agree – not my taste either – …. but I assume the trend came in with some rage

I’ll take the folding table to the right. Wood still looks good. A bit of polishing and two coats of varnish, it should be as good as new. With personality. 🙂

Ahhh – a little patina after that polish – I see your vision – 😉

Hehe! Plus I like wood and working wood. The noblest material for your hands to work on.

This is cool. I’ve not thought of others thinking of taking pictures of chairs. Like taking pictures of chair too.

Well I am
Not sure if you join challenges – but if you do – and you happen to see some cool chairs this year – maybe join in with the “pull up a seat” folks …..

Non of these seats look comfortable enough for me, except for maybe the pink wingback in the last photo, but I think I’ll give it a miss in case it has fleas. 😅

Yes – that one would have caught my eye too – if new – and it probably has mold too – blah

Just noticed there is a second pink chair to math that one – it is upper left – ! A pair

So, we have one each. 😃

I truly like the composition of the last photo. It’s very backwoods Americana.

Thanks Joey I Took three pictures of this yard and someone said I could have writing “anywhere” in Florida as opposed to somewhere – and your Americana comment fit this so well. I noticed even more after posting the pic – like even the “big workout machine” maybe a bow flex…but Americana fits it so well
