THE #LENS-ARTISTS THEME THIS WEEK IS “Hello April” (here)
My take for this theme is that April is bike weather. I like the different moods in these bike shots. Maybe April can be a bit moody too.

I like your take on April. My favorite shot is the second one. I look forward to bike weather here so my husband can get out and get going!

Hi Janet – thanks for the feedback – and that second one was a better photo at home when I realized I had a teal building in the background near the vanishing point (I am trying to take more bike photos this year) and side note – I heard you are moving to Arizona next year – where bike weather is year round – woo hoo

I like your bike photos. I also like the saying about how to sell. Cute.

Hi Ally – thanks – and that little motivating quote about selling is something I take into April with me…. I have some goals this month (not with sales per se – but it has to do with getting active and getting my butt in gear)

Great Bikes! I love biking. We took a ride this week and both commented that it would take awhile to get our pedaling muscles back in shape. I’m determined to ride more next winter whenever I have a chance so I’m ready for the long trails in Spring.

Oh right on that you guys get out there so much – and I like the idea of “pedaling muscles” – and reminds me as to HOW awesome it is for our body

I look forward to seeing more bikes around. It will definitely not happen here right now as it is snowing this very moment!

I just saw your snow post, C – and ahhhh = it was beautiful to see that bench. and thank goodness for indoor workouts – like your fun Zumba

Yes, otherwise we would never exercise 😄

– I did just get rid of my recumbent bike – which was so difficult to do – but the reality was I ONLY used once or twice per year for some indoor exercise – and that has been for the last few years – so I released it – and in my head I miss it – but I have not once looked for it around the house – hahah –

I like the images. We have to wait until they sweep up the sand before taking the bike out.
LikeLiked by 1 person
yeah – the sweeping is a must – and glad it is not just salted roads anymore – I still recall the rusty cars in buffalo when they used so much salt – and sand and gravel and a mix of stuff is better

That and the undercoating of cars.

Yes – and my neighbor recently shared how her first car was a Pacer – with no back seat floor cos it rusted from underwater – that salt was tough

These days work place even allow people to bring their bicycles into the office too.

I think that is great that workplaces are allowing this – 🙂
and I would like to ride more but i do get nervous being on main streets – well it helps if there is a bike land and we are starting to see those more – but only in certain areas

Interesting way of meeting the challenge – I like it. I never thought of April being bike weather but I can see you’re right. Great photos!

Hi – well
In certain non-snowy places maybe bike weather is sooner – eh? Or time for the ratmobile adventures

Oh, yeah. It’s gonna need a full overhaul. I had problems with my neck for several years and biking was ooff limits. Better now and out of excuses!

You really captured the many moods of April with these bike photos. I might check out that challenge. One of my goals is to take more photos. that might be the nudge I need.

Hi Laurie – that is exactly what the challenges do for me – provide the nudge – and hope you get a chance to join in (and thanks for dropping by)
