Hello Readers,
For May 2019, Priorhouse will join in with some of City Sonnet’s prompts.
Today’s Post features “WELCOME MAY” & “FLORAL”

Pink Floral Snow

“If I Can Stop One Heart from Breaking” by Emily Dickinson
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Thanks to Lady Lee for sharing this challenge (here).

Wonderful. You must be in the south as we here in Iowa are just beginning to leaf out. Great pictures.

Hi _ we are zone 7 – and so it is considered the south by some – but middle east coast – but warmer than the North and midwest…
and glad you are getting some leaves

“Pink Floral Snow” that is a cool name for the pictures. I think that is another part of spring beauty that you need to look low to see. I love it!

I like how you said “look low to see it” so true about spring

I have hope for lots of May flowers given our dismal April with all its rain, and March was not much to write home about either. My friend who lives in RVA tells me she enjoyed a very warm day today – 80s. The pink flowers are just exquisite and the Emily Dickinson poem as well.

You’re welcome Yvette. I will let you know if I visit RVA – Evelyn and I have been friends since 2000 when our respective law firms underwent a merger and have spoken many times, but never met one another yet.

May seems to be flaunting itself very well in your part of the world.
It’s not happening here yet – it’s chilly and grey today 😦
And thanks for sharing the city sonnet topics – I’ll try to join in.
