Not a huge fan of roses – but cannot deny their beauty – and when I saw this orange-red rose – it caught my eye because it had such a proud, yet humble vibe – I had to photo it. Notice it is standing tall – but not crowding out the other blooms. ahhhhh- harmony (and let us ALL “stand tall” and have humility with our pride – so we do not crowd out others – yes – let’s not shrink – but not get cocky either …)

  13. Outstanding photos, Yvette, and such wonderful colours. I love the autumn hues. And the blue orchid could almost have been spray-painted that vibrant shade! Fantastic stuff. Love the cartoons too – especially the flying one! Have a great weekend. 🙂

  14. Roses at the stores are beautiful but I am not in particular like or dislike them. I have seen other kinds at nursery and those I do like. There are so many kinds of them.

    The last cartoon strip is funny.

  15. Your flowers are gorgeous, Yvette, and I love the animal jokes – a GPS and flight simulator – shows just how ridiculous some things have become.
