This week, the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge theme is “All Wet”
Did some digging in the archives for today’s photos.

Let’s end with some humor:

Here is the Carl Douglas Kung Fu Fighting song:

Today’s post reminded me that change is constant. The seasons of change will also bring us variety – and may we all adapt, stay strong, and be as resilient as needed.

My favourite pic was the windscreen one. You could make the snow one count if you said it would be wet when it thawed 🙂 The prohibition/essential business is so telling.

Thanks Derrick – and the snow melted quick that day so we ok really did read the photo well –
Wishing you a great day

It is so strange that alcohol is considered essential. I guess it does keep a lot of people happy 😊

Hi C – yes – and alcohol needs to be managed with care – or it can sneak in and dull judgement – impairs the senses and makes a terrible coping tool – haha

I agree. But maybe that is what is wanted – for sense to be dulled.

That first photo is really good, and excellent for the theme. I like the tee shirt.

Hi dan – and thanks 😊
And that song always makes me wonder why everyone was Kung fu fighting

Thanks so much Ana – that entire part of the trail had such a bland vibe – but also just nice to be in different expressions of nature scenes

I like that first shot as well. Reminds me a bit of what I did. “Kung fu fighting” is now in my head. Heeeeelp!! I thought maybe that referred to people at the store trying to get TP. 🙂

Oh Janet 1 now I a laughing again to imagine folks at the store with tp battles doing king fu!
Thanks for the laugh with that.
And when I first saw the T-shirt I was like “huh?”
And then I got it!
Sorry for the earworm with the song – but I sure do live the opening “oooo oooo oooooooo”

I really like that first photograph, obviously, all your choices are a good fit to the challenge, but that first one is a stand out I would say because of the composition.
Also, that t-shirt is fabulous! For whatever reason, I really like that song.

You sure did capture water in many forms Yvette. We had two solid days of rain last week causing flooding on the shoreline of a few of the parks I frequent. My daily go-to park is up higher than the Creek, so thankfully we never have flooding issues, though the Creek is higher than it ever has been. I remember the song – yes, that’s a clever tee-shirt for sure!
