ESTIVAL: reacting to or typical of summer. THIS PHOTO REMNDED ME OF THE PEACE THAY COMES FROM THE BEACH DURING SUMMER. JUST LOOKING OUT AND LETTING IT FUEL THE SOUL.

 

CUISINE: a style of cooking. BEACH TACOS. NEED I SAY MORE? I THINK NOT….
RIFT: a large crack or separation. PARTS OF THE BEACH REMIND ME OF SNOW.
INSTRUCTIVE: giving useful or instructional material.  TRAP DOOR? HAHAH – LOVE THE INSTRUCTIONAL HUMOR FOR THOSE TEMPTED TO SHAKE THIS MACHINE
SPAN: a period of time that something exists. I CHOSE THIS PHOTO FOR SPAN BECAUSE THIS COUPLE WHISPERED ‘TOGETHERNESS OVER A SPAN OF TIME.” THE CUTE MATCHING TEAL AND CASUAL STROLL MADE ME WONDER THEIR STORY. THIS WAS IN DESTIN, FLORIDA SO I ASSUMED THEY WERE FROM THE MIDWEST (BECAUSE DESTIN IS SUPPOSEDLY THE “BEACH TO GO TO” FOR MANY FROM THE MIDWEST UNITED STATES). I WONDERED IF AND FOR HOW LONG THEY OWNED A PLACE ALONG THE BEACH AND WONDERED IF THEY WERE GOING TO ORDER SOME BEACH-SIDE TACOS LIKE WE DID ON THIS DAY. 🙂

    1. haha – we always have to watch out for trap doors when we are trying to get tolled one hundred dollar bills from the coin slider machine (kidding – not even sure how this gaming game is played)

  6. Good images for the words Yvette. Lucky you had your tacos before the others got there. The first photo….do you know that bloke or was it a gratuitous bum shot 😀 😀

    1. hahah – the bloke was a stranger – and laughing at the bum shot – not really what I was going for – I actually just saw him looking out and grabbed the photo – more going for the rolled towel and hat (hahaha)

        1. BB – I PROMISE i did not even notice the “Butt” – and zoomed in after you said something – and well, I can see how you might think that – but really – if you had some context it could help.
          I took about 100 photos during two short walks around the eatery – one short walk while waiting to be seated –
          a second short walk after we ate and folks talked.
          Birds, table stuff, folks sitting – some walking and standing – and so when I picked this photo for the post – it was also rather quick like – it was truly all about the way he was looking so intently out to sea.
          and men are more visual than us women so I was wondetin ehat he was thinkng – (and asses never did that much for me – just sayin – I like the smiles and the eyes)

        2. Oh Yvette….this made me laugh. Trying to work out what a man is thinking…..good luck with that. Yes smiles and eyes rate well but butts and boobs are up there as well 😀 😀 😀
