    1. Thanks Laurie – but my favorite weather at all – and we had way too much rain in august (record setting) but can see why many of you love that weather – moody and has a place ๐Ÿ˜‰ – but sunshine days for moi – to journal in the sun

  1. Oh my – and the umbrella has shades of gray just like the rainy day. We had 3.89 inches of rain a few weeks ago, and 3 inches within a few hours. Mother Nature sure has been on a tear everywhere this year.

    1. Thanks for the feedback – and must share that I literally had five minutes to whip this post out – so if I had time I might have added a video of a gutter pouring out water rather than the beach wave –
      But trying to post all
Month long and must make some time frames work – and had a Cubano today – will share more later – not a very good one – ttys

  2. Great for wet…Destin video looks great. We’ve always gone to Jamaica for vacation, this year, circumstances as they are, we are going for the first time to Sanibel, Florida. I’ve always wanted to go there for the shelling…I’m excited.

    1. Hi – please let me know how your trip comes out – Sanibel sounds awesome – and maybe a lot of folks are rediscovering what can be explored right here in the home country!

        1. You are exactly right – I don’t recall where we were when that rain photo was taken – but a few weeks ago the news showed that trash was clogging the drain entry way on some streets and they were getting people to pick it up or report it

  3. I like your take on wetness, Yvette. Your 3 images tell me a story of rush, of the nuisance of such a storm, and I like the way it ends with the upside down umbrella. A feeling of “glad its over”
And the slow mo video is great – what a good idea. I sometimes use it on a journey, but hadn’t thought to capture water. Thanks for the idea.
    Have a good weekend

      1. It is strange how it is so uneven in just the small United States. I understand how it differs between continents but here? One part of our country is under water right now while another part is burning down.

        1. David’s dad once flew a plane, there were only 4 ever made that they would scoop up gallons and gallons of water and then drop that on the fires, I believe up in Oregon. I will have to check with him the names of the planes but they were huge. That was the problem, they were so expensive to fly. What is that red stuff anyhow?
