Consider the View (#SquareUp Day 26)

Two for Tuesday today features two different views from a parking garage in South Florida.

This “UP view” was where we parked for a place we stayed at in south Florida. Our unit was then another 40 floors up – yikes! Oh, and don’t let the chipped paint fool ya, this was an upscale place – it is just that this was so close to the water and the elements there can be tough – and maybe they did not prime it up enough?? anyhow, those frames will likely be repainted soon).

As many know, this post is to join in with Life of B’s square challenge – with the theme of UP this month.  Recently B reminded folks that there is still time to join in – as we have a handful of days left in January to share some “Up-themed” square photos.  Go here for more about the #SquareUp challenge.

    1. Hi annika – never again will we rent a unit that is so high up. We just were attracted by free paring but getting up more than a dozen floors to park the car was the worst part – the elevator ride up the other 40 floors was not that bad -it was parking and the in and out with the car – yuck

  1. The header shot is a star – not only the squares through squares, but that flaking blue paint echoing the patches of darker blue sky. Btw I’m posting the upcycled church gates I mentioned 🙂

    1. thanks anita – i love the way you noted the differences and it really did fit – and crazy how moving the lens just a slight bit to the right can change the vibe like that

      1. All too quickly Monday rolled around, but I got a walk in despite the wintry precip yesterday, so I’m happy for that. We’re getting some ugly weather the end of the week. I hope the Groundhog predicts an early and does not see his shadow. 🙂

        1. I enjoyed this Yvette. I’ve never read a first-hand account of the event, just have seen the video clips of Phil and his prognostication. We have Woody the Woodchuck who lives at a nature rehab center, but not around here. She is fairly accurate and has a house over her burrow – she also predicts six more weeks of Winter. That’s too bad, but we’ve had a fairly easy Winter thus far … end of this week is not looking cheery though. Thanks again Yvette.
