Oh, I like the place to sit. I had another lovely dark chocolate mocha today as it was 7X loyalty points which means I already have a free drink. :-)Their mochas are really good, though, so it wasn’t a chore.

well research shows that consumer spending can increase when they get the customer engaged – and then also heard that spending can increase if someone is closer to their goal – which is why years ago when we had paper punch cards they would sometimes start us off with four punches – closer or the needed 10 and if we keep coming back the habit becomes part of a conditioned response and we begin to –
well you know –
hahaha
and cheers ☕️☕️

I just got the card today, so in the next month, I can try 10 different drinks for $2 each, 16 oz. size. That’s a good deal and allows the customer to try a variety of their drinks without spending a fortune. I already know I’ll get their dark chocolate mocha again, but I usually only get coffee once a month or so. Once the card is used up, it’s back to my rare buying. 🙂

What’s in a nitro?

hi sorryless
my son introduced us to nitro and this one in photo was from what looks like a beer tap and it just has nitrogen gas added – next time you visit a starbucks (if you do) they are quite generous with their free tasters of their nitro coffee and so be sure to try it!
i only like it once in a while and is a nice option because i think i mentioned some of starbucks coffee (most in store) is too acidic for me and then their tea bags use the darn plastic sieves –
so this was a great option that day!
i looked it up so i would know more about nitro coffee:
“Nitro coffee is a cold coffee brew infused with nitrogen, a colorless and odorless gas and makes up to 79% of the fresh air we inhale. Although the combination may seem strange, nitro coffee has a phenomenal and lingering aftertaste.
Nitrogen is preferred to Carbon dioxide because it makes your beverage frothy, which gives you the perception of a sweet beverage without sugar being added. It also makes your drinks thick as beer making sure you enjoy every sip. The nitrogen gas hits different places of your tongue, bringing out all the flavors.”

Wow, that is wild! It’s like science fiction meets Intelligentsia (the name of a coffee company I used to have every time I was in Chicago).

Sit and sip … I had to Google “nitro coffee” as that was something new to me Yvette. A cursory glance at that cup of goodness made me think it was a milkshake. 🙂
