Time for Thursday Doors
While sitting at a light in Richmond, VA- grabbed a photo of some red doors and captured an awesome smile:
These next few were from different parts of east coast
This might sound funny, but in the 1990s, I was a Battery Snob and always HAD TO HAVE the brand of Interstate batteries. They delivered a lot for the dollar.

Okay, so any photos stand out to you?
Did you ever have a battery brand the you just had to have?

Nice shots, Yvette. I can’t say I’ve every really thought about batteries. I like the Everyready ones, not sure if these are a local brand or not.

Hi Robbie – I am not sure what is sold these days – but in the 90s I was driving a lot – just my lot in life because I moved away and family was scattered – and so batteries and other car stuff became a part of my life – but have no idea today – although – recently saw commercials for DIE HARD batteries and they are cleverly using the old Bruce Willis Die Hard movie to promote it – very clever

thanks for the comment

Fun photos of an ordinary day. I always enjoy your street scenes. I’m glad the guy didn’t seem to mind.
For many years, I had to have a Sears Dihard battery.

Can’t say I have a fondness for a particular battery. I like that first series of the red door. It seems like the gentleman warmed up to your camera over time.

I love a red door! Yes, I had to have eneloops for my Speedlight. Any battery would work, but I just had to have that brand. I really like the brand. They’re my go-to battery for my Speedlight.

Nice shot of a bicycle. Do you ride?

Hi – not that much right now – but we have had seasons of riding as a family – the hubs rides a bit and and I do plan to cycle more later this year – it sure is wonderful exercise and I can see why you love it – 🙂

I hope you get to do more if you want.
Without a car for 15.5 years I needed it to get around, and still having my condition of undertallness, I need to keep moving. So it’s not all love, I seem to have made distance a thing (averaging 5,200 miles a year or thereabouts) and now it’s been a daily chore for 16 months. Maybe someday if my streak gets broken I will take that as a sign to take a week or two or four off.
Anyway, I’m not sure if you have winter weather that prohibits bicycling or makes it unpleasant, but do what feels good!

– so healthy for us and you might just be adding to your longevity through cycling and the great outdoors with it – even if for commute and whatnot
