Without water for over a week. I want to hug those hydrants and never let go.

This post makes me think of those Texans who do not have water now and especially there is no where for them to go. I can imagine many terrible things under such condition.

hi Derrick – funny you would say collection – because i am actually using up a folder of hydrant folders – i have stopped taking photos of them (unless i see something nice like the ice storm last week had a cool shot) but i expect a few more posts and my folder will be empty and i will be rather glad! lol

Well your hydrants are at least unique looking – ours are just plain red and yellow, although they were painted red, white and blue for the bicentennial year.
