Priorhouse is currently on a short blog break – but I wanted to create a post to say hello and check in.
The theme for the Lens-Artists’ photo challenge this week provided a nice opportunity (while also connecting with Thursday Doors) because Leya invited us to share a photo story – to “share images that tell a story.”
The first image to share has four figures: customer left, musician in center painting, employee on right, and then figurine of musician to the back.
I liked the lines in this photo and initially wanted to capture the opened French doors and the variety of items — i.e. track lights, art, worker, diner, small window in back, verticals, etc.
Later I realized the photo had some nice lighting and had a “different times” story.
We see the old parts of this building and the art depicting a jazzy past – and we also see folks wearing face masks and two bottle of hand sanitizer giving us the vibe of now. The old mixing with the new as life moves on.
This next two photos also have a “different times” kind of story – but they are quieter. Old doors still in use now and then diverse chairs with a remodel.
The whispers of the past are felt in each photo — while we also feel the now.
Okay, that is my check in for this week and I hope everyone is having a great start to December. 🙂

Thanks for your visit.
