Happy Monday readers
Here are some tulip photos that are hot off the Priorhouse press.
We had fun listening to old school music while doing house stuff over the weekend. Songs sound so much better coming through really good speakers. It was like a music fest.
I am sharing my top two songs from Sunday’s jamming – because they were so delightful – (felt like tulips blooming in the spring).
First song, Simple Man, covered by the band Shinedown – whew. This was done a long time ago but it was new to me and really loved the vocals. Also, the lyrics offer up some wisdom:
Momma told me…
“Forget your lust for the rich man’s gold
All that you need is in your soul
And you can do this, oh baby, if you try
All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied”
The second song, which was offered as a “suggestion” to listen to next, is Hall & Oates singing “She’s Gone” – these type of songs were part of my childhood – – and so memory lane was strolled – while also making new memories for March 2022. Also, because the song suggested was the 1976 live version, it was fresh and so I stopped to enjoy the extra nuances that come from a live performance. If you have a listen – let me know what you think.
Okay, here are the rest of the tulip photos for this post.
Hope you have a great Monday
