Happy Tuesday. I have another take on fire hydrant photos w/ quotes. (yesterday’s hydrant/quotes post is here)
ONE: I like the night life, baby….

***
TWO: City life….

***
THREE: Forest bathing in Virginia …. (reminds me of Janet)
***
FOUR: Delightfully Different….

Closing Notes
- The May 2022 Priorhouse Interview has Mabel Kwong in the line up – see you on May 7th for that.
- Dan’s Thursday Doors May 2022 Writing Challenge is underway. The invite is to write something that goes with one of the submitted door photos (21 to choose from). For information, here is the link: https://nofacilities.com/thursday-doors-writing-challenge-2022/
- The Spring 2022 #Dickenschallenge features the book Bleak House this year and ends on one 9th. Earlier today, Trent posted an inspired reminder post – which included tasty sections like this:
“Dickens can be wordy, notoriously wordy, and yet the words cast a spell, create a vision, in a way that simple, terse prose cannot. And this description of London is one of his great achievements.
As is the entire book, Bleak House.
This is a story that makes you question charity while always being thankful of people who are truly charitable.”

Hope you all have a great day

Fun cartoons. I haven’t seen Grimmy in years. I like the thought about being your own weird self. Why not, eh?

Hi ally – I guess it depends on how we define “weird” because in some ways it can be beautiful and all about uniqueness in a good way but there is another weird that might be loco (and not so celebratory)

That top hydrant in FL is unique. I’ve never seen one shaped like before. Thanks for the smiles the comics gave me. 🤗

Forest bathing is my favorite thing to do. Love those funnies – especially the doggie with the cone.

Hi Jt –
Cheers to forest bathing – and those cones now come in these cool fabric circles with layers of rings – not sure f you have seen them but they are such clever idea and I think a lot more comfortable for pets

Working on the interview… Just spent too much time on my French income tax declaration… But it’s done.
yes, I’ve seen hydrants inspire you… 👍🏻

sigh – taxes never sound fun so congrats for getting them done
and I do have a few more hydrant posts in the works – and I guess taking street shots just
led me to seeing them more and more – just because they are always there.
and by the way – one of your recent street shots had a sleeping dog – and that pup looks a lt like my son’s dog.
I will have to share an image later
hope you have a great day

The siesta dog? Your son’s must be a nice dog then.
